Barry Hits the Road With a New Cd

Quantcast
Today we are packing Barry up to head out on a three week tour by
himself.  The last time he toured by himself was five years ago, right
after Samwise was born.  His solo debut, 7000 Miles, digitally released
last week and the cd's will meet him in Ft. Worth.  I (Michelle) am
super excited about this project.  It is different than anything we
have done before.  For one thing, it is  singer-songwriter and not
corporate.  We have already received a little feedback from folks who
were confused by the mood of the project, expecting something maybe
more worshippy or overtly Christian in nature. This is different, but
it is good different.  Some of these songs have been brewing for years,
some sprung up during the recording process.  These are nitty gritty
songs straight from life that anyone can grab ahold of. They are songs
about pain and joy, touring and break-ups (hypothetical, have no fear),
love and roots. Barry's guitar work is gorgeous and achey, his lyrics
will move you and turns out, he sings fabulously—all by himself.  So
grab his project at the cdbaby link below and come on out and see him
for yourself for a new Patterson experience.  He will be coming through
DFW, South Texas, Austin, Baton Rouge, Houston and San Antonio, to name
a few.  And you are invited! While you are waiting for him to get there, check out his latest blog about the weird writing process behind "At Least Today" (the facebook song).

P.S.  I will really be needing some adult conversation for the next three weeks, so call me.
